Please let this not become an abandoned WIP! It was infinitely more satisfying that the canon meeting in HBP, particularly in the layers to Tom's character: watching the small incidents become little seeds of Dumbledore-hatred, watered with a good dose of estrangement from the magical world, ambition and even a dollop of reader empathy. Good to know that "ickle Dodo" (snicker) will get what is coming to her. (Since she and most of the other teachers at Hogwarts (and Fudge possibly) are all around Voldemort's age, I often wonder how they coexisted in their school years.)
As for Ollivander: "Indeed, young Master Ma... ahh, Mr. Riddle" and the wink and his "glorious eccentricity" make him hope that there will be more of him to come as well.
I'm off to read that Philokrates/Albus fic now actually...

That was utterly fantastic! It was well written and interesting. Many fics are ill-paced, leaving the reader sure that the writer has only thought about the beginning and the end-not the middle. Your story, on the other hand, is perfectly paced and has left me in a gloriously happy mood. It's the kind of story that leaves the reader refreshed with a good taste in his or her mouth. If there were any gramatical errors they didn't bother me (not a small feat). Anyway, keep up the good work and update soon!

Aww.. Tom is adorable isn't he? I think he seems a bit too adorable really... too young, Harry didn't seem that young.. but its a really interesting take on TMR. Great job. Please update soon.

Hey, pretty good so far. I liked the concept of Dumbledore introducing Tom to Diagon Alley since I read it in The Broken Victory, as well as the whole talent/choices concept in the summary. I look forward to seeing you develop this over three more chapters.

For such a fascinating, complicated character in the HP series, there's a lot of poorly written junk about him, but there's always a few genuinely good stories out there- and this one looks like it's going to be one of the greats. I'm in love with your "Two Worlds and In Between" and this is already one of my favorites:)
