One of the most moving pieces of G/S writing I have ever read. Everything from your characterisation to your dialogue to your storyline is wonderful and you I hope you are immensely proud of this story. I think Luxor summed it up pretty nicely: exquisitely done. :)

I had to sleep on this one and read it again ... I was speechless after reading this just once. I knew it would be good, of course, as it is YOU, Anansay ... but this was beyond incredible. How can the reality of Butterflied even compare to this piece of perfection? I love how you build the tension to its crescendo ... and the way you intertwine Grissom's words from the episode into the story is pure genius. I feel as if you have given me a true intimate look into the minds, hearts, and souls of these characters. What an emotional ride. Exquisitely done.

The end bit was very romantic, but the whole Grissom washing out her eye was a bit creepy/corny. But thats just me.

There's no way that the episode is going to be as good as this fic - probably not even by half, which is kinda sad. But... I thoroughly enjoyed 'Second Sight' - very well done and so very close to what I would think could happen between G&S is TPTB would stop screwing around. Excellent job as always!
