the bit at the end feels like it should be really good but it's all jittery and takes me out of the story while I'm trying to figure out what you mean. that might just be me though.

That was beautiful. The way you used 'see their becoming' was beautiful and highly original. Wonderfullu romantic with a harsh taste of bitter sadness. 'Youth falls away from his face like snow.' Remus closing his eyes, waiting for thunder... reading like braille...
