This is a really neat fic! Where did you come up with that cool idea of the whole plant-demon thing?? Anyway, I'm glad you had Buffy and Forrest call a truce at the end. Thinking of doing any sequels to this?? =)

Excellent story. The jealousy/antagonism between Buffy and Forrest was yet another element of Season 4 that wasn't developed as much as it could have been: you grab the threads and run with them, adding depth to Forrest and already hinting at some of the future rifts in the Buffy/Riley relationship. You also do a good job capturing the other characters.

Very, very nice. Good in all the ways that parts 1 and 2 were -- solid, clear writing, great characterization, and terrific dialogue. I particularly enjoyed Buffy's clever handling of Graham on the path to the cafeteria. I think you understand these characters better than ME's writers do. In any case, a great piece of work.

Again, crisp, clear writing and wonderful dialogue. The lull in the action is used to great effect in terms of character development -- specifically, the antagonism between Buffy and Forrest is explored in a very interesting and plausible way. Something tells me that part 2 is just the eye of the storm; I'm looking forward to part 3.

Very, very nice. The dialogue is authentic and witty; I laughed aloud several times, and the sentence, "You fought the lawn and the lawn won," is now permanently etched into my brain. The character development of Forrest and Grhaham is very believable. Particularly impressive is the way every member of the Scooby Gang is involved in the story in a way that furthers the plot (I know from personal experience how difficult that is). Anyway, I'm looking forward to reading part 2 later today.
