And I just made a big mistake, my friend Max asked me if he could borrow Willard and I actually gave it up for a few days, and this even though I'm addicted... damn, damn, damn... wanna watch it again tonight! Blast! you see what you made of me ;-)
What is intriguing about the two characters is how different they are - I mean, they look much the same, but that is all. I thought I'd keep grinning all through the movie because of Charlie's Angels, but then Willard hardly reminded me of the Thin Man, except his appearance of course. That cool deadly glare was gone, and all that elegance. I was really amazed. Now that's what I call a good actor!
Your comparing of the two of them is a good idea, well done. It reminds everybody how different two characters portrayed by the same actor can be - that is, if he knows his job.

Cool! That was interesting, entertaining, and very original. Nice to see a Willard/Creepy Thin Man story hit the 'net. We need more Willard fics, though...(pouts absurdly)
