Aw, come on, man! That is anything *but* fair! Your notes at the beginning had us thining it was going to be a good, sweet fic, and then it transformed into one of the most heart-breaking pieces we've read to date! We love Sean and Emma together. The comics should have let them be together but never did, so it's up to the writers to get them together and keep them together, not go killing one of them off! Seriously, though, if you like them together as much as we do, you might want to check out our fic series, Love on the High Seas. The third book brings their romance in, and the whole series is a huge crossover between a multitude of fandoms all mixed into a Pirate's world.

Wow, pretty powerful story, as I'm a fan of Gen X. I always pondered over the idea of Sean and Emma getting together, but the tragedy...whoa. Good characterization for Jubilee and Emma. Jubilee showing a different, mature side, and Emma showing the caring side that she showed every now and again in the comic. Nice job.

Depressing? A bit. But it's nice that Sean got to say goodbye.
Besides, you revived Angelo for the story. One living character dead, one dead one alive. I suppose there's balance in the end :)
