Wonderful WONDERFUL story.
You don't become a Christian by being baptized. You have to admit you're a sinner, and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart. Baptism is just a way of showing that you're proud of the fact that you're saved. (Just see my profile...)

This is a very interesting situation for both leading characters, and a very believable one for Rose. Naturally she would be suspicious of men: after Cal and as a pretty, single woman who is so completely out of her class she would be both bewildered and defensive. She's still the feisty, imperious girl she was before the sinking. I see several possible ways this could develop. I'm interested to see if you have something simular, or something I have not visualized. A well crafted story. Good work.
