Aimee 2006-07-30 . chapter 1 I was sure I reviewed this fic ages ago...well, anyways, I LOVE THIS STORY! It's so beautiful, you have written it perfectly. It's just amazing |
Green Eve 2004-02-01 . chapter 1Killer closing line, very romantic. I liked this piece a lot. The tone was as clear as a bell. Nice scene setting(the blades of grass cast pink shadows), and character shading(“. . . it takes away the fever from his desire to write/He just can’t help it, can’t help but wake up at three in the morning . . .). The dialogue is articulate, but still plays as real. Great work with your original character, establishing her as a person with a job, a life, and a past. You make her quite complex: “. . .she smiles right through people as if they were transparent/he fumbles, bewildered in the face of her cynicism . . . |
sallene 2004-01-02 . chapter 1Wow. This really tore at my heart. It is wonderfully written, and I'm at a loss for words.
I just feel for Will. |
nu 2004-01-02 . chapter 1 I loved this! There are not enough Syd/Will stories out there and this was especially well-written. In character and painful.
My favorite lines:
There is nothing clouding her expression this time, not tequila and not vodka and not the ghost of Michael Vaughn.
and
If he only sees her once every sixteen years, he thinks as she opens her mouth under his, it will be enough. |
