But, I can skip that and go along with whatever a/u childhood you plan to reveal for our boy Cole. How did the Turner family live? Did love for Cole's mother corrupt the father and turn him toward the darker side of his nature? At what point did Cole go off on his own? Did he try to protect his father by leaving him behind, fearing he could get caught in the crossfire of battles Cole was waging against the powers of good,or against demons that wanted Cole out of the way in their own pursuit of power? Obviously, the ring would be of great use to the "powerless" Cole. If Cole had snubbed his father as a boy for being a non magic human, the tables are now reversed. Cole is the weak one. This man would have some understanding of what it is like for Cole to live as a human, losing that part of himself that made him feel bold, confident and strong enough to meet demonic challenges. Now, instead of being a warrior he is the innocent in need of protection. |
