I liked it, but the wording related to the timeline confused me a bit. Overall pretty good though! :)

Great job. It was so sad, and at the same time it had something good in it. But that just made him dying a little worse. I liked the way you did this. It was a good read, and it almost made me cry. It takes a lot to make me cry for a story, so that's a good thing. Your story can do that, then you are a far better writer than most who write sadder things.
