This is the epitome of glorious--absolutely /stunning/ in its own separate way. I've never been able to relate to Rikku so well, and I'll admit it's new for me. You've gotten her right on the dot, and I don't believe another person could write her as well as you do. Most portray Rikku as a happy-go-lucky soul with no true emotions, but you've given her empathy and life with everything attached, her real feelings coming alive. Dealing with an Auron-deprived reality and trying her absolute best to convince others she's /alright/ has been so convincing through your third person narrative. WONDERFUL job. Glorious.
And now Auron's back. THAT is going to be certainly interesting. And Rikku will finally be happier, let's hope. But I have a hunch things won't get happier too soon. You'll make it believable, and it's going to rock. I'm really excited now, and even with Gippal around I still think Rikku and Auron deserve to be together. I'm so proud of you for going through this fiction so far! You're awesome, Beth, and I hope you have a lovely weekend. ::hands over a box of truffles::
