I can't believe Hayarpi, Brian, Gilbert, and Inez are still fighting. It's rather ridiculous (and the very reason I'm not into relationships or don't like them between my friends to begin with) and it made me laugh how annoyed Tatl, Nicole, and Link were getting.

I know this for a fact. My Star Force fic... I didn't work on it for half a year, but it still works... Plus I tweaked the story a bit to fix the SF3 references, but your fic doesn't need that. :D So yeah, the transition was fairly good there, maybe you should try something similar...?
