You have great word choice (at least I'm not paying attention to to be verbs because those are stupid)! I have to say that this one in particular gave me some very good images in my head when I read it. I really liked it when you used the sky as a metaphor and how you described it as an unnatural darkness and as a heavy one that was pressing down on them. That was my favorite part of it! Great job and keep up the good work!

BRAVO! Congrats, you actualy ended this story great! Most stories end a bit corny at times, but I LOVE this ending, as the end of the story is a lot of times what you remember most. So kudos to you! :D

Great story! I would love if you continued! I was kinda dissipointed when they didn't even include anything from the houses of healing in the movie, but meh, I enjoyed your writing alot, can't wait for more!

Well, facts is facts, I'm afraid. Merry was unconscious for a few days after Pelennor Fields. He was beset by the creeping darkness of the Witch King he helped Eowyn to strike down. And it's well-established that Pippin was with him pretty much the whole time in the Houses of Healing.
It's pretty obvious you're going off of movie-cannon, though, and seeing as how this is descently written, I can just deal.
You should really read the books, though. There's so much more story to it.
