Very interesting - it's not often we get to see pieces from villains' points of view - and this was an interesting, and well-written, one. I just rather wonder what Alec was thinking during this... ^_^

This was a really good piece. 006 was always such a strong character that I couldn't believe that Ourumov could turn him. Turning it around so that Ourumov was stronger but lost control of the situation was believable and moving.

Excellent character analysis, bringing out the much darker themes of Goldeneye.
Believable representation of Ourumov, and the evilness that we view briefly in his cold blooded assassination of the Russian Minister in G/eye. The scenes of torture actually had me cry out loud in horror at the sheer cruelty of it.
The idea that Alec was broken down into his defection by higher powers is one that seems to becoming more and more popular, usually with a slash undertheme, but this is excellently done.
