i think that jack comes in the tavern and lives there for a while then the dream just keeps prying at her mind (akiva's) and then jakc falls in love and struggles to find the voice to ask her to marry him and yada yada yada and then connor is like possesd and jack saves her blah blah blah and so on and so forth
i thought that would happen but as i can read you have not posted for what seems like and age!
anyway great story i shall be reading something else of yours right now

So it was all a dream, or, a premonition? And now she has catlike abilties becasue Conner gave her that cat? Okay, kind-of weird, but kind-of cool. You basically saved her from a horrible experience without making her a damsel in distresws. Sweet! I can't wait to read what comes next!
