Definitely a bit on the looney side (Shinji that is), and not just a bit weird. It was very well written though (I'm sitting here listening to Drpwning Pool while reading - now that's weird), I enjoyed reading it. Actually, I thought it ended very well. Shinji was right - they are all running in circles and his dad has the whip driving them all along into a frenzy. It just hit my weirdness bone just right I guess...
