| snuffernosegary5 2006-05-16 ch 1, | abuse"'You thought that maybe I felt the same way.' 'Yes,' he answered quietly, realizing that she had essentially ensnared him with his own words." This made me scream for joy! The whole story would make a fantastic episode, with a compelling plot that doesn't overshadow the characters. A work of art, all of it. Thank you for this story! |
| Nerwen Aldarion 2004-10-02 ch 1, | abuseYou Rock, If only that was an episode, and I love how Geek Love was compared to a fire, because that what it is a fire that is getting kindled with each new hint |
| Brelli 2004-08-15 ch 1, | abuseI've got one word for you: wow!. The imagery you create is amazing. I was completely drawn in. Fire is such a great representaion for passion. I was blown away by this |
| Pheo 2004-07-31 ch 1, | abuseWow!! A magnificent piece of art, as usual. I have to admit, I've read this one about three or four times. It's soo good. I love the parallel between the arson and GSR; you always weave that so well. God, you're just such a great writer! |
| tismeiam 2004-07-15 ch 1, | abuseWOW... what a story, it has me reading from start to finish with a dopey look on my face. i loved the way you complimented the fire with the sex... i have read csi fanfic with sex in it which is really explitic, but this was done in such a really nice way. Can't wait to read the next one |
| niff74 2004-01-18 ch 1, | abuseEven though you've managed yet again to leave me speechless, I must show at least *some* gratitude by posting a review, so here goes... ;) I honestly don't know how you keep doing this, but yet again, you've excelled yourself. I smiled, frowned, almost cried, and even whimpered throughout this wonderful journey you took our geeks through. As always, perfectly in character, smiles, thorns angst and happiness, all packed into one amazing fic. I find it hard to *connect* to fics after "butterflied", because it was so intense, but this was just perfect. Oh, hell. I'm gonna read it again now. ;) |
| Grissom's Girl 2004-01-15 ch 1, anon. | abuseUh... wow. What more can I say? I loved how you drew a parallel between Grissom's passion and the intensity of the flame - between investigator and arsonist. He may well become overwhelmed by the fire, but oh what a way to go, eh? This was an incredible piece of work. Thank you for posting it. |
| scigeek 2004-01-15 ch 1, | abuseI loved this! The real details and facts you put into your stories helps make them come alive. The personal parts of the story are nicely put together. |
| frmarks 2004-01-14 ch 1, anon. | abuseYou really know how to write a story! Everything about it was perfect. |
| Quacks 2004-01-14 ch 1, | abuseHot Damn! :P |
| Barkers Cat 2004-01-14 ch 1, | abuseBurked, you are simply one of the best writers in all of fan fiction. Your talent is outstanding. This story is a perfect demonstration of that skill. You weave the elements of the case with the G/S deftly. The parallels you use are wonderful. You make the characters seem "real"; they share more than the names of their TV counterparts. You have their personalities and traits captured perfectly. |
| WackJob 2004-01-14 ch 1, | abuseYou're a great writer. The way you write Grissom is so good. Stunning use of fire in this story. |
| jenny-o 2004-01-14 ch 1, | abuseDamn! This is so good. Wish I had a fireplace. And Grissom. |
| mossley 2004-01-14 ch 1, | abuseThis story absolutely rocked! ;-) The use of imagery was inspired, not to mention sensual. The way you tied in the arson case to the GSR was great. Grissom's dialogue with Tommy was a wonderful way for him to let Sara know his feelings. Another classic! |
| Newland5X 2004-01-14 ch 1, | abuseWoo-Hoo! |
