Wow. I'm quite speechless at the moment... This is definitely one of the best js one-shots I've ever read, and it's going on my favorites. You managed to capture the moment perfectly and made it truly heart-wrenching. Wow again!

Beautiful, a work of art.

That was such an amazingly written piece of writing, It was defiantly angsty, I felt my stomach twisting in knots of sadness, it was so beautifully written. I don't know what else to say :-p!

Okay, there are a list of things I love about this fic, and I believe that I should give you each and every one of them. Sorre...
1. She’d never call there, of course, for fear of talking to anyone but him, and so instead, she stole what she could; moments in inappropriate times that only delayed the inevitable.
2. She’d always been his other woman, but until this moment, she had never felt like one.
3. The shirt covered her eyes now and she wept into it, hating herself as she did so, for being so dependent on something that was so treacherous to begin with.
4. The entire bathtub scene...so powerful.
That was actually just what I needed. I taped the ep from Thursday and just got around to watching it an hour or so ago...and I'm just so put-off by this whole M/S thing. I think Sam's character would drop Martin like a hot potato if Jack was suddenly available. And psychic that I am, I just know they're going to draw this out for months, pathetic love triangle that it is...and just...no. Gr...okay, I'll stop ** now. Great story, loved it, can't wait to see more, as always.

O. MY. GOD. I was leaving when I started reading this, so I left it (tension and all) when they were in the shower. Wow...just wow...

Hi there. Sorry for being slow to review, but this merited more than just one read. I found this breathtaking. Absolutely breathtaking. The depth of emotion in this story is stunning. And images like this: "...her eyes, trying to act as arms, holding him, keeping him from walking away from her again."

I LOVED IT! I have been missing good Jack & Sam time. (Frightening enough is the sudden crop of Sam/Martin stories.) This was just what I needed today. My favorite part was the exchange between them about the possibility of her being mugged. It was so THEM... Thanks again, keep writing...

Wow, dude. This is about the tenth time I've read this, and I'm still completely in awe. You captured so many emotions and wrote them so they were almost like characters in the story, as well--this was so heart-wrenching and beautifully done. Gorgeous and hot and full of angst..thank you for posting this!! :)

Man. That's just downright heartbreaking. You should attach a warning to this beautifully written angst filled piece. Your detail and ability to convey their emotion is amazing. I especially like the "She’d always been his other woman, but until this moment, she had never felt like one." It just gets me. Rock on!
