Good. i thought it was abit obvious that Conner was Samuel though. giveing his age clued me in, and saying that he was dashing fellow about whom little was known.
Good story though, kept it at a fast pace and no lose ends, though an epilog would not hurt.

Adrian and Faith! *dances* Sorry, but I just love them as a couple. They compliment each other so well. And the fight scene wasn't bad. really. Better than anything I can do. They're so hard to write.

Add an epilogue!
Although you could leave it like that, it really leaves it open ended, you don't have to do a marriage or anything, just like put what happens with his brother, bring Faith's brother back to see how he reacts to the new relationship between his brother and his sister...
something like that, but obviously if you don't want to you don't have to
