Strange but Tara and Spike, in almost every sense of plot and story fit nicely!
It doesn't even matter if they're just friends; lovers, or family. A Strange phenomenon, though! That is just Spikes and Tara’s own way of being magically.

This is a lovely portrait of Tara (I like the way the title means both the lullaby and her 'self'). I enjoyed the details in your picture of her: the southern traditions, especially. And the image of Tara in the serenity of the early-morning graveyard-that's a nice picture. It makes so much sense to me that Tara would take the actions she does in this fic, that she would be the one to 'rescue' Spike. The ending comes so naturally; it feels right. It's a pleasure reading short fics like this that focus so lovingly on the characters.

I liked this story. Tara is a sweet person.
