dude nice fic but technically when Kim died that was suppose to keep Ron on earth to wonder forever it was the actual ending in the second crow movie Ashe couldn't go to the after life to his son because Sarah died while he's on the "job" that was his punishment but Mira-Max messed up the movie so yeah technically Ron was suppose to stay on earth as a punishment for letting Kim die but.. still awesome

Great story CC.

An update was a long time coming, and I'm glad it came. The end was a good, if bitter-sweet. I've never seen the Crow movies, but this story has really got me interested in seeing it.

Good luck in future stories.

You regularly handle the threads (loose ends, power sets, etc.) well. The need for Ron and Kim to end up together being met with Ron being stripped of his crow and the vengance over Kim's murder creating a new pact calling a crow was pretty good. It also adds to Mankey's villainy-he could have 'won' if he hadn't been set on murdering everything since the pacts don't activate on conspiracy to commit (hence, Ron's not overly intending to kill him until the second pact).

What I disliked the most was Yori's deus ex machina. I understand that Yori's been in this since the beginning, but she was used just as a vehicle (fairly literally) to get Ron back to his grave. Now I know this wasn't going to erupt in some harem-esque, Kim/Yori/Monique calling for Ron to let Shego go in exchange for living with them because that's not your style. But Yori did nothing to save the innocents, and if she did (like Ron's souless but still animate corpse outside of his grave would have killed anyone and everyone) it was never communicated to the audience.

The same thing for Will Du. He shows up out of nowhere for a split second and barely serves the purpose of hyping up Ron's invincibility (as Ron has already fought multiple opponents).

If the two ideas had been combined...like, Global Justice is tracking the Killer of Killers and Yori saves Will Du by kicking his ** out of the way of Ron...That would have been a fine culmination. Even the epilogue would have been better:an aged Will Du telling his wife Yori that they owe everything to Ron and Yori telling him they've always owed everything to Ron.

Oh well. You got some great fan fics (this being one of them) and there's only so much great that's going to go into a fan-fic.

It's kind of odd that with a few paragraphs I'd get chills and tears. Nicely done and well finished.

Nice. I was surprised to see an update after so long. I think I actually stopped reading this more than 2 years ago. Good to see you finished it. I love it when a story I like is finished. And I'll admit to liking a lot of your stories. Keep it up. =)

Deals with death don't seem to hold much water do they?

Though denied love fully with Kim in life, their little passage before the end notwithstanding, they find it will be theirs in the afterlife.

Tragic and sad, with the slightest spark of hope for them in the end.
