Nintendo Maximus 2004-02-06 . chapter 2The story's only just begun, and already I'm putting it on Microsoft Word, preparing to print it!
I must admit I've never really gotten into Animorphs. But I like Crandall/Brenda so much, I'm willing to read the story no matter if it's crossing over with something I'm not interested in. Besides, I've always been interested in crossovers that involved one of my favorite franchises. But thanks for the explanation!
Hm, so Brenda's the oldest Teamo memnber according to the author's note, eh? I find that odd, considering that to me, Brenda always appeared to be the youngest member. In fact, over the course of the series, Brenda's birthday was the last of the Teamo members' birthdays to occur. (Crandall's birthday came early in the series, and Hector's was mentioned in one of Brenda's Mail-@-Toon e-mail replies prior to when "Brenda's Birthday Bandit!" first aired.)
I like how you had Brenda's narration about her memories, including the scene from the episode "In the Beginning..." Yet I can't tell whether Brenda was joyful over realizing she's "been picked to join Crandall's superhero team", or the fact that Crandall was acknowledging her. Speaking of him, "smart and slightly weird" is pretty much the best way to describe Crandall. He's intelligent, and yet he believes that he's from another planet. (If you don't recall that, I can answer that for you...)
Aw, I love that bit about the necklace that Crandall made for Brenda. ^_^ I can assume that the necklace becomes important later on. Am I right?
Boy, I can't help but wonder what Crandall wants to tell his girl. *eyes big* Hee hee, Bartley's listening in on the other line! Pretty shrewd for someone who was only one or two years old when his sister had just become a superhero.
In the words of a certain Disney song, "I can't wait" for next installment! |
