Yeah, I think Grissom and Catherine are better suited for each other. Sara is too young and too clingy.I hope the "relationship" with Sara is over and a new one and more believable one with Catherine develops.

Great idea! Even if Griss was talking about Sara he made it clear he wasn't going to go for her. I would, however, feel badly for Sara if this scene had actually happened (okay, maybe I wouldn't have but hey...). And nice ending with her going to the bar ;)

The only real criticism I have is that Sara obviously was not happy at the end of the episode, you could tell by the look on her face. So this fanfiction really doesn't reflect the mood of the episode. But that's why they call it fiction, right?
Otherwise, it is a nice story and I give you a round of applause for noticing that Grissom named no names.

well..it was good. I liked it. interesting idea--that Grissom wasn't talking about Sara. That might possibly be true if you listened to the speech alone. However, there are other circumstances that make it very clear that it WAS Sara. You know--the vic being Sara's look-a-like etc. For Grissom's comparison to work in relation to Dr. Lurie, it really does have to be Sara he's talking about. Also, some statements from tptb (writers, etc) confirm it. Nice idea, and its possible (though i dont think so) that grissom could be in love with catherine. But in Butterflied, he was definitely talking about Sara.
