This is much better than your other Evolution fic. There's still the odd interpretation of Linear's starting to speak, but other than that the characters are very well done. You certainly made Chain and Linear come off the page. Nicely done humor, too, though I could have done without that last sentence - it isn't particularly funny, and comes off as a bit pretentious.

Like your other Evolution fic, this one doesn't seem to have much point, but it makes a great slice-of-life of the characters. Nice work.
