Seretocarlo 2007-07-28 . chapter 1Hope was growing thin. I had been looking for a decently-written story for -days-. Just when I had almost given in, I found this and realized--some people still know how not to brutalize characters and write with a pencil instead of a sledgehammer. It's nice and quiet and reflective.
And, incidentally, the right length.
Do you think titles are hard to choose? I do. It's difficult to find a balance between "terrible" and "cheesy." I think this one is "okay." |
SomniumSeeker 2004-01-19 . chapter 1Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! Oh, and did I mention brilliant! This fic was wonderful. It was poignant and stirring, poetic and flowing. And sweet. Sweet without being fluffy. It was real. You wrote it in such a way that I could read it fluently, without bumping along on awkward sentences. But a flaw? It was short! Too short! Okay, so maybe that's not a flaw, but it certainly miffed me a bit. Your writing style left me wanting so much more; it pulled me in and connected with me. I never wanted it to end, and I even found myself eyeing the scroll bar warily, dreading when it reached the bottom. And yet, I can't bring myself to ask you to write more. Because if you wrote more, I just feel like it would potentially take away from the...dare I say magic of the piece. And perhaps you felt the same. But regardless, I absolutely loved your story. Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us! |
