Sorry, but when Sonic runs away, Amy doesn't question "does he not like me?" the way she just did. She'll say "he's such a brat sometimes." and pursue. Amy has actually accepted the fact Sonic runs, and has ran after him despite that. So how come she's suddenly questioning herself, and her will to chase Sonic when she hasn't before? Something the fic really should've touched on. Because it didn't she's acting pretty OOC.

Then there's Shadow crashing in Amy's house hurt... why? How did he get there? How did he get hurt? Why is he in Amy's house when Battle reveals he lives with Rouge?

And another thing OOC about Sonic is that, Sonic saves the girl, and runs off after perhaps making sure she's okay (and that's a maybe). He finds out the girl is okay, and runs off. There are instances he really doesn't even ask once he rescues her (if he's ever). Then Amy going from "ok..." to perky "Sonic I'm so glad you saved me!!"is a bit strange to me.

Anyway, that's about as much as I've got to say on characterization. Another thing is that there are points in the story where you don't define who is talking, and it becomes a reocurring problem, I would simply advise to watch that too if you can.

okay, ive read alot of romance fanfics, cuz i like romance fanfic (dont know why either) but this is probably the corniest. maybe if you made it a more-than-one-chapter story, it wouldnt be so corny. but as of now, it is.
