Really quite sweet. I like how oblivious Jet was. And I like the (relatively) subtle metaphors at the end.

"By the time Faye remembered her own, she realized the present was more important." This could be it's own one-shot, or an easy way to turn this one-shot into a fullblown fic ^_^

Hello, I found your profile via lj. I must say this one shot is pretty well written. Is rare to see Faye and Jet IC inside Cowboy Bebop fics. Though I am not a FxS shipper (I happen to like the bittersweet irony of JxS) I could buy her 'romantic' feelings towards him.

Wonderful story! It kicked ** and resolved things beautifully.

Nice, decent, average story.. You write well, and balance description with dialogue very nicely. However, I didn't feel very connected to the characters when I read the fic.. Be sure to draw the reader in further with your work, really allowing them to connect with the person.

I liked this story because Jet and Faye were in character. Unfortunately, I'm used to the opposite. Faye's pain got to me, because it was realistic and because I can see her reacting that away to Spike's stupidity. (No I'm not bitter. Not at all. Damn Julia.) It was nice that you showed that Jet missed him too. The most powerful line though, at least in my opinion, was the last one. "It's nothing that can't be fixed." Very, very good job.

That's quite a great story. Very emotional, as well as consistent with the characters' personalities!

I can see Faye acting that way. Good story :).
