One of the best stories I have read! I couldn't stop laughing and felt as though I was right in the room with them!

Even though you wrote this years ago, I would love some kind of sequel, or an epilogue of them explaining themselves to Arwen and Aragorn!

Lovely! I enjoyed every minute of it. It's good to have a laugh now and then. From the beginning I tried to brainstorm who "she" and "he" might be and am proud to say I guessed "Eldarion" and "nurse" long before even the word "baby" was mentioned. How cool was that! "They spoke almost as one conscious soul giving both sides on any point" - That just nailed it perfectly. That is the perfect way to describe Gimli and Legolas, especially when discussing the wonderful and hilarious banters the two are constantly getting into. This was a delight to read - funny during their banters and comments to, and about, each other, as well endearing in their lack of knowledge with babysitting Eldarion. Completely adorable. I really enjoyed the humor and endearment of this fic and applaud your effort!

That was quite amusing. Legolas and Gimli bantering is always fun, and putting them in the situation of baby-watching is great. I loved the part where you had Arwen and Aragorn listening at the door--excellent touch, and it makes the whole thing work. Your commentary throughout was interesting as well. Overall, very well done!

I hope u come and check your reviews on and off because I have to tell you that this was a most wonderful story! It was great..and I have to say that the part that stuck with me the most since i read it was when Legolas was so afraid to get near that little baby...and his 'One finger..' that 'could cover nearly all of the baby's hand,' i could just picture the whole scene playing out...wow... I love it.

This is very very amusing. I really liked it and the way it was told. I was very amused by Gimli and Legolas's bickering, as I always am. I, too, have a friendship like that, and we have endless fun in each other's company with our idol bickering.

splendid, lovely, sweet, funny, adorable... damn, where did all my adjectives go when i need them? Oh, well, this shoud be enough to let you know how much i liked your story. It really made me laugh a lot - and i'm not the sort of person that can laugh easily.
Brilliant plot. And the way you portrait (sp?) Legolas and Giml and their relationship is perfect. I felt like it was just something Tolkien would write (althought he would not probably write something of this sort, what i mean is, they are in character ^_^)
