Akire 2006-08-28 . chapter 3 That was soo good, and yet so sad. Lots and lots of angst. I feel so bad for Sora, I almost want to cry. But I loved the story very much, original and enthraling to the very last sentence. Thanks.

euphorbic 2004-04-05 . chapter 3You rock. Fan-girl squeeing aside, I'm impressed with another solid installment of Folken and Sora mental/emotional darkness. And hey, imagery to work with. You've given me many wonderful images through your descriptions. (Bonus points for the excellent fan art to go along with this chapter.) I'm constantly impressed with your ability to have these two in such close contact yet they might as well be in different worlds. Of course, this time around, Sora *is* in a different world. There were a lot of really good lines in here and great character interactions. I especially liked how well you captured the kitty-twins' feline nature. The moment of respite was WaFFy and sweeter for its brevity. And i should mention that your 'High Fanelian' sounded completely legit. Great job! Thank you for writing and posting this! |
Infinitis 2004-04-04 . chapter 3Oh me gosh! This is really good! T.T So sad though! Plez plez plez write more of it! It a rarity to read Folkie/Sora ficcies. |
Sakura Shinguji-Albatou 2004-04-03 . chapter 3YEA! An update! Woo-hoo! Very well written. Very, very well written. You've got me hooked. This is wonderful. I know, this is a really bad review, but my only reaction is gushing praise. \^_^ |
JadeGoddess 2004-02-15 . chapter 2the movie was always too short, it's good to have stories of folken and sora (though I thought Hitomi was sora??) |
Sakura Shinguji-Albatou 2004-02-12 . chapter 2I didn't think they seemed too familiar. Dune is the dominating type, and it doesn't really seem like him to beat around the bush for the sake of building a strong relationship, and Sora has to smile and nod or risk punishment. Didn't seem too rushed to me, either.
Let's see, what did I like? I liked Sora's encounter with Dilandau, that was cool. I like the way you're interpreting the Dragon/Halfling powers. And I liked your description of the doors seeming to shrink. |
euphorbic 2004-01-25 . chapter 1Nice title, made me think you'd written a ceremony for a second and I was sort of cringing. Ah, but more of that thing that tries so hard to be Folken/Sora WaFF but ultimately just leaves us cold and twitching... Thank God! I really was impressed with the setting and the carefully evoked mood. Excellent. Their interactions hold true. There was such genius in the use of go (black and white) and also the memory. As usual, I want to skin his father alive.
Suggestion for next scene: How about some sort of sequence using their powers? You know, trying to best yield results when they mesh them. That's my best bet for producing possible WaFF, but I'm still not impressed with the odds. I think I'm only capable of conjuring angst. |
Shyleigh 2004-01-19 . chapter 1I love the idea of taking a closer look into the relationship between Folken and Sora, I always thought of the two as being unexplained but still interesting characters in the movie. For the next chapter, maybe go more into the explanation of why they are together or how it happened exactly, it could turn out to be interesting :D. Keep writing! |
Sakura Shinguji-Albatou 2004-01-19 . chapter 1Oh! A Tsubasa no Kami fanfiction! All right! There's too few of these out there!
I love the idea of Dune playing Go. It's perfect. This is great! You've got their relationship down awesome!
Uh, next scene? I dunno...I can't think of any suggestions, but if whatever you come up with is as good as this first chapter, it'll be great. |
