I like this story. It's pretty nifty. The only thing you might want to watch for is, as Wiccamage pointed out, you don't have a lot of desription in here. The dialogue is sharp and you know there's emotion there but maybe a bit more description could help the ppl who's imagination doesn't really keep up with words. (I know ppl like this, so don't say they don't exist.)
Apparently, this is your first story and I commend you for having the courage to post something and get so much positive feedback. So please, don't take this review as anything negative, because I'm not out to make you bleed or cry (I've heard of authors who do.) I'm just an author trying to help a fellow author out.
You have exceptional talent; I can see it with the way your words flow and I'm happy that you have a Beta reader to help you out in case you miss something. (I do it all the time.) You'd be surprised how many ppl like to nitpick at silly little things like spelling errors that are bound to turn up a couple times. I get it all the time...*sigh* C'est la vie, though, non?
ANYWAY!! If you want more feedback, you might want to make it possible for anonymous ppl to who don't have accounts to review this. You'll probly find you get a few more at least. Some ppl don't have accounts for this site.
