I thought I'd lost all my bookmarks once when I messed a bit with Netscape by upgrading (7.1 is more aesthetically pleasing and I'm staying with it, thanks much). When I downgraded back to 7.1 I'd created a new profile when my regular one was set as default. I have a LOT of bookmarks. I was about ready to send my comp through a wall.
I also have many pieces of writing on my comp. Losing all that probably WOULD make me chuck the thing through the wall. Anyway, I hope you update soon.
