I'd guess that the blue stuff is Turkish delight. I have no clue what the dress is; you haven't really given us much description besides oddly familiar but unrecognisable. = )

I do have a few questions. Since, in canon, the Shadowlands Narnia was destroyed, are the fanwriters going to the real Narnia or are they going to a copy of the Shadowlands?

Also, since, besides Susan, all the canon characters are dead - in the real world - when they come back would they be perfect beings or imperfect beings? Jadis and the Lady of the Green Kirtle would obviously be more petty, small, and evil than before, and the good characters would be more good and brave and valiant than before.

And what about Susan? How is she going to react to being brought back to Narnia to teach? I'd wager that the students would fear her on a level with Anja. She'd be more dangerous and with more hate for fangirls than pretty much anyone else, when you think about all the sappy Susan-redemption fics there are. Of course, Peter and Edmund would be angry as well, knowing that their sister was worthy of more than an ill-written, purply prose fanfiction, being as chivalrous as they are. And Lucy - well, she is the Valiant.

I honestly can't say why I haven't looked for this yet, being such a fan of OFUM and my own OFATT, but OMFG! I have to admit, I was a bit jealous when I saw you got to write this (as I am the number One fan of C.S. Lewis and an expert on everything Narnian)...but I'm sure it's good. And if not...well...you'll see. ^_~*

Speaking of Mini-dragons, I've spotted one for you: Peer. Actually made in a copyrited book published by Disney! Its not in fanfiction, but I'm sure someone misspelled it somewhere.

I loved reading OFUM, so I'm guessing that this will be awesome. (Just a note, you probably want to keep this a bit... more family-friendly than the original. You must remember that Narnia appeals to a wider audience than LOTR, as it reaches kids, too. You must admit that OFUM was not appropriate for a twelve-year-old, who might find this one.)

I LOVE the rivalry between Jadis and the Green Witch. (Reminds me of Sauron-Morgoth!) Seems like it could add some humor (and danger!)

I'd enroll, except the very first fanfic I read (4 years ago!)was a watered-down version of an OFUM-like fic. It explained why Sues were so wrong, so I never got started on them. (I'm an angst fan) But, I suppose if you find yourself needing another student, you could always contact me. I'd be happy to help. Narnia needs an OFU, the place is almost overrun with sues, slash, and incest.
