Wow you should really have continued this story. There are few with Quistis as a main character because you're right, she is one of the most overlooked characters in all Final Fantasies, but she is one of the best. I was kinda looking forward to some Quistis/Miranda action... Tsk tsk tsk...

I liked the interaction between Rinoa and Quistis...usually they are portrayed like "enemies" and not like friends.. Im happy that you're still writing this and thinking in MirandaxQuisty pairing !

We were missing you! xD I like the twist but i think its probably better if you dont keep on a stricly Rinoa/Quistis because it will do harder to write the fanfic because then there should be more twist and...well..@_@ its harder to write...but its just my amateur opinion ^^

I happened to stumble upon your story after a fruitless search through FFX-2 and read everything in one sitting. And my Quistis-loving heart couldn't be happier for everyone's favorite Balamb instructor! There's a lot of chemistry between the two, particularly because Miranda partially reminds me of Squall who coincidentally was one of Quistis' harder crushes.
I'm still a little confused about the connection they share (mentioned in the first few chapters). Is Quistis preparing her for a battle with the developing sorceress? Or is she the lonely one?
Anyway...enough of my prying. Just be careful with formatting paragraphs because sometimes the dialogue isn't separated and I end up wondering why a character would answer their own question.
I really like your idea of getting Quistis together with Squall's female counterpart. It makes for some very hilarious vignettes. I also like the different facets Miranda has: she's aloof one moment, then friendly, sarcastic, giddy, sly, carefree, and angry in two minutes. Woo...talk about a 15-year-old with mood swings.
I totally understand where you're coming from on the whole school thing...going to be a senior next year and I'm already feeling the stress.
