Cute story! There isn't many good stories out on Kimahri, and this is one of them. Well written and nicely done. I enjoyed how you wrote his POV and little Yuna. Nicely done.
Leonine One 25^2 2005-09-06 . chapter 1
This is so great. It's the greatest Kimahri fic ever. GREAT!

aaw that was a cute story...i think u should write a story about yuna's childhood as well...
Fading Into Darkness 2004-10-23 . chapter 1
Okay, I admit, my review is a little bit on the...belated side...but either way, here I go:

That was an amazing fic. A really dead on interpretation of what the first meeting between Yuna and Kimahri would have been like in my opinion. It's been said in alot of the other reviews, but I'll say it again: the descriptions are incredible. The intricacy and detail you put into the surroundings really make the story stand out. Nice job. :)
Reaver of Heaven 2004-08-24 . chapter 1
Ok, I haven't really reread this story and forgotten that I already reviewed for it.It's just that I needed to write another reviiew to get this on my favorite's list. ^_^ Still, I am loving this story. It is definately one of the best I have read ever. You should continue with other stories.
Supremia 2004-05-30 . chapter 1
Oh wow, what a wonderful fic to stumble upon before I head to bed. The characterizations were spot on, and everything was just adorable. It gave me a fuzzy feeling inside. =) This is definitely going on my favorites list.
He who doesn't exist 2004-03-15 . chapter 1
Wow.
I'm sorry but that my friend is all I can say to such a magnificent interpretation of how Yuna and Kimahri first met and how he took her to Besaid. You are by far one of the MOST excellent fanfic writers I have had the fortune of witnessing their work unfold. You captured every detail from the tall city of Bevelle to the very tiny detail of Yuna's keeping of her father's towel. Again I say it.
Wow.
That is the only word that can openly express my first reaction after reading this incredible story. I am a huge fan of Kimahri fics and I wrote one of my own and am waiting for inspiration to strike. If you would do me the great honor of reading it and reviewing it, I would be humbled by this sign of courtesy. Please continue writing and I am waiting for your next fic.
P.S. My fic is Honor Among Ronso by Reaver of Heaven. Please check it out and tell me what you think at my attempt at a fic no matter how feeble it may be.
Mayoki 2004-02-16 . chapter 1
Whoa...that was a great read. I loved the length, I didn't have to worry about it ending too soon!
That was so powerful and emotive, very well done, I loved it! I can't even pick out a favourite scene it was of fantastic quality all the way through.
What can I say...well done, and I hope you continue to write such great stories! ^__^
Thyme In Her Eyes 2004-02-13 . chapter 1
::blinks::
Oh my word. Kitt, that was magnificent (it's Cetra here, in case you didn't know). I wasn't sure if I wanted to read this, because I'm not in much of a mood for FFX right now, but I'm very glad I took the time to read this! A long read, but that's part of what made it so satisfying.
This was a lovely story; I don't think that I've read very many FFX 'fics that come close to how well-written and enjoyable this was. There's something very uplifting about it too, and I adore the sense of sweetness throughout. This story made me smile, it brightened up my day - be proud of that. 'Tis an achievement. ::wink::
I love how you write Kimahri and Yuna - they're your main triumph here; your lovely characterization of them was what drove the story forward and what made it such an involving and fun read. The depth of your insight and the way you handle that insight when writing fanfiction makes me jealous. I also loved the use of small details, like Yuna keeping her father's towel. You bring so much life and humanity into Kimahri and your portrayal of Yuna as a child is so adorable (I especially like how you mixed elements of her personality that we see in the game with the normal behaviour of a seven year-old girl). And the way the friendship progresses is very touching. I was right there with Yuna in this story, wailing "Don't go! Don't go! Don't go!" at the end. :)
There's so much that's good about this story, but I won't gush forever (I have to eat sometime!) but I feel like I also ought to mention, that your descriptions of the various FFX geography was brilliant. The way you described the locations was so atmospheric, clear and beautiful and you tackled what some authors might find very tricky so well!
This was a great FFX fic, very unique. I think it's one of the best I've ever read. I'd love to see you write more! ;)
PS: I've sent you more e-mails, could you please let me know if you've recieved them or not? If not, I'm gonna have to majorly edit all the symbols out of them so that your spam-folder doesn't eat them... Anyway, please let me know, k?
PPS: The shoopuf scene was adorable...
IMPROVED Uber Rei Model 06 2004-02-02 . chapter 1
That was SO sweet! ;-;
Th' Lady Shadow 2004-01-25 . chapter 1
Wow.
VERY well done!
You know...I started a fic about Kimahri once, stretched over just about the same time period as yours. It was going to be multi-chapter, but I got busy and never got past the first...
Got no reason to write it now, hehe. ;) You've done a wonderful job here, a far better work than I could have ever made mine.
Here's to one of the rare, GOOD pieces of fanfiction out there, a wonderful author, and a hope, on my part, that you might consider submitting this to rpgamer.com, a site with a top-notch fanfiction archive.
Bravo! ^_^

This was absolutely incredible!
You've got everyone perfectly in-character and the emotions, actions, and dialogue are very very realistic. Fantastic work!
rock-star-vt 2004-01-24 . chapter 1
Damn
Wow, this was good. I quite accidentially stumbled upon this fic and I'm really really glad I did. Your characterizations were flawless, as were your spelling and grammar. Nice descriptions all around. More than that, this was very original! I don't quite think I've seen a fic covering this premise before.
Good Job, Kudos, etc. I don't know if you were planning on continuing this and showing thier relationship in the events of Besaid or not, but if you do, I will be checking up on it.
