Excellent writing. I don't think I would have been able to convey so much emotion in so few words. Very, *very* well done.
It's interesting to see a Maglor perspective on that first great war of our time. He has seen so much sorrow and felt the deepest despair known to this world. It is not surprising that he cannot face death himself, and mourns so for the needless death of others.
