WOW! That was sad! I swear I was actually crying as I read this! Not only because of the story...but I was also listening to the song on the RotK soundtrack as I read this! And I ended at the same time the song did! Bring on the tissues!

That was so sad, but so sweet...how Aragorn held him whilst he slept, and then left so that his friend would not have to see him die...I am going to cry again! Evil! And then Legolas sitting by his bed... Beautiful.

Every time I listen to that song (which is quite frequently) I get really emotional, and your story made me even worse, I was sobbing like a baby. Just readong the part of the song "what can you see on the horizon? And then reading the corresponding words of your story and I was gone. Well done, simply beautiful.
