Cool, my sister and I were always arguing wether Kain was hypnotized from the start of the game, or not. I always thought he was evil all along, but that doesn't matter 'cuz he's C U T E!

Amazing -- I'm truly sorry that I didn't take sooner any time to read your newest works, but I had much on my mind (and schedule) lately... Sorry about that! :( and back to the story:
This piece here is one of the most interesting and best FFIV pieces I have ever read, even more as it explains a blank in the game no one ever wrote about. The characters are described perfectly (and you did Golbez really SO well! *bows*), the flow of words is superb as always and if I had to pick out my favourite line, I wouldn't know what to say, because they all were so great. This was once more a great poetical look on a great game by one of the best authors these site has and it is indeed strange that you haven't recieved more reviews by now... It seems that quality does not always get appreciated. However, I'll at least be sure to check out what other works of you I have missed to read lately...;)

Wow I didn't even realize that this is a second fic I've read from you.. but then again I believe it cause I was once again blown away like I was from "Beneath the Mask." I enjoyed reading about Kain's few blissful moments with Rosa in the ruins of the Mist. You really showed how much he adored her in the greatest detail. I've never come across any fics where Rosa might even harbor any remote feelings for him, and although she may not love him like she loves Cecil, your story kind of keeps the reader guessing :)
I agree with C.R. Carter.. how could this not get more reviews!? Seriously? Well, anyway, I really enjoyed reading this fanfic and I hope you continue to write more amazing FFIV stories. You're a truly talented writer :) Kain forever!

Excuse me? Do my eyes deceive me? Did I just read in a certain review that you dislike reading your own writing? I would smack some much needed sense into that gifted head of yours, but I don't want to ruin that talent you have. You know that talent? The one that makes you such a good writer? Trust me, you fool-of-a-Spiff, when I say you are one of the best writers this site has. *nods*

Anyway... I can't believe I overlooked this! It's not really my fault, I swear. I have to sift through a lot of garbage in this section in order to find the good stuff. Have I told you what a good writer you are lately? Yes? Oh, well I'll just say it again. You are a talented writer. I especially like this one (hell, it's got Kain) for both its length and its quality. I love how you get inside these characters so well. Sheesh, and I thought you did a good job with Cecil... I was almost in tears when reading this. I don't believe I've ever seen this part of the game rendered into a story--especially such a beautiful one. Poor Kain. He loves Rosa so much, but can't have her. That has to be hard on a guy.

I particularly like how you write Golbez. Tee hee. He's such an evil bitch.

I'm just angry this didn't get more reviews. I guess most people prefer to read junk. *shrugs* Their loss. If you do another story, may I suggest something more with Golbez? Perhaps how Golbez was first manipulated? You do such a good job with him.

Interesting perspective... and hell, Kain's in it. :glomps him: You're an amazing writer. It's nice as a one-shot but it would be cool to see where you go with this if you choose to continue it. :)
