Hey. Just love that subtle nuance you've put in this writing! That was very clever...You started making Rin the insomniac but if the readers were really careful, we see that you seem to aim the restlessness to Sess actually being the one who couldn't settle down at night. He was the actual insomniac. Notice when he reflected the tossing and turning and sake and Jaken squashing...and then he marched into her room and disturbed her slumber (apparently, SHE had settled down but he DIDN'T)...Very cool because you made the readers think on multi-dimensional level and it shows your creativity. I hope there is continuation...but if not, it's a terrific oneshot !

Very cute - but I think that Sesshoumaru was a bit OOC in it. Then again, it's hard to write for Sesshy since it's so very, very rare that he says or does anything...

I'm more of a Sesshy-Kagura shipper though. I think that Sesshoumaru is much more of a father figure to Rin than anything else. Even when she gets older - that doesn't change the fact that he raised her... But, well, it was good writing, as usual, so I can forgive it!

This is great! it's so adorable. I love the flashback part, when Rin asked Sess to sing to her. Great work!
