Super sweet

Wow - that was fast. CJ and Danny won't get together that quickly, but I like the AU idea a lot. What if different people *had* been hit? Maybe this could be a series - Leo gets hit, Charlie gets hit, Zoey gets hit ... no? *grin* OK, I didn't really think so. Good idea, and the writing is very well-done.

Every once in a while reading these things I come across an insight as to why something happened the way it did in a movie, Book, or show. This was one of those times. If CJ had been shot Danny would have responded in this way, ruining their combative relationship. Thus CJ only got scared and Danny could hide behind his gruff 'I'm a reporter'

awww... that was sweet. The ending seemed a bit unrealistic, but overal I liked the story a lot! It was interesting to see more people then Josh getting shot. it's one of those "what if..." games. Anyway, really good story!
