And Rory and Jess having such expanded vocabularies is entirely plausible. When I was in kindergarten, I read with the 3rd graders and was often told I sounded a lot older than I was. And I started school a year early. So, entirely plausible. Great job! I'm in love with little Jess and I'm hoping for more! Often when I read GG stories ppl don't really get the characters right (including my own stories), but I don't think it matters as long as the characters are portrayed well - and that's what you've done. I don't know what Rory and Jess would have been like when they were that young, but the way you've pictured them sounds pretty good! Another thing I like about your story is it's not a cliche. Alot of the stories on FF tend to b cliched so they get really boring because they're practicaly all the same. well, keep up with this story! ~aDDIcTeD-2-GG~ |
