wow. this was really nice. the connection at the end to writing stories was particularly powerful. as were certain lines, but too many for me to name them all. bravo. really.

I like that you have written this from Jiraiya's PoV, it is really nice seeing him reflect on the past, even if it is sad. Really liked how you talked about their first kiss.

Very nicely written and I loved the part where Jiraiya was debating if he should tell Naruto about Sasuke or not.

I think everyone thinks that Jiraiya writes those books

because he's unsatisfactory with life. XD

You have officially made me fall in love with this pairing. Kakashi once said Jiraiya and Orochimaru had a similar relationship to Naruto and Sasuke (and we all know what's with that pairing) and now I read this fic. Its very well done and very real. I can imagine this type of thing happening.
