OOh. You actually had me almost liking Lauren... Impressive. Although I'm not a S/V fan (I prefer them when they're not together), I thought it was interesting (and effective) how you depicted their supposed-to-be relationship from Lauren's perspective. I honestly suspect that I'll think twice the next time Lauren plays the part of faithful wife or deceptive rogue agent. Yay! I also liked the use of second person narrative (that is 'you' isn't it...?). It was unusual, but it worked well--it gave Lauren a sort of universality. Lastly, I'm curious about whether the bit about Lauren's father being a Senator is in the show, or whether I'm neglectful (and not nearly as obsessed as I should be) and just didn't notice...
