That was by far the single best fan fic I have ever read. I dont think I can find a single fault in it. Your Plot is sound. Your sentence structure is perfect. And the changes in the characters was so gradual that it fitted them.

Oh, I've been *thirsting* for good RL/DM and you've positively quenched me. Your portrayal of Remus and his weariness, his honesty, his need to love. was all poignant and beautiful. The way you revealed Draco's heart, because he *does* have one, albeit a hesitant and slightly hard one, was moving and realistic. Even Harry's pettiness and grudges and likeness to Sirius was perfectly done. Great characterization. I wanted to cry at the end, the last scene was incredibly well done.

well, i said it when i last read "my immortal" and i'm saying it again. wow. this is great, great, literature. yes, it's a fanfic, which means that it will probably never be published, but it is definitely up to those standards. you do a nice job keeping with the series; it doesnn't seem like you just tacked something onto the end.
draco's remark of "sirius ran away when he was 16, too. was it because he was in love with you?" is very good, but slightly unexpected. it seems like it overreaches draco's position in his emotional arc at that point.

Good sequal.I like your first songfic too. Is this the end, or are they going to get together? I've never read a Draco/Remus fanfic before.
