Yup, typically Bufy to give up one love, believing she doesn't deserve it. Especially when it's so close.

Wonderful metaphor. And poor Buffy. I really don't see her ending up with Xander, though. I don't know why, I just think she's grown to the point where she wouldn't settle for less than true love. That's just me, though. And I really love the whole 5 holes, 5 guys thing

This is a sweet, sad little story. I really do like these Jewel Box stories. I wish you'd do one for Kate Lockley, please. I miss her. And what about The Alto?
