Your story was very, very good. The characters felt true and the pacing and plotting were excellent. However, a Beta reader that can spell is your friend. There were many wrong word choices such as week for weak and so on. This was distracting and detracted from what was otherwise very solid work.

This is a beautiful chapter, and I'm so glad that I stumbled across this story. It's kind of sad that things have gotten to the point where we need to warn people about a religious element to a story. And there's nothing hokey about praying.

Oh! This was WONDERFUL! I loved it.
My just about favorite thing in the whole chapter, was when Vessna told Matt that there would be elephants in her story. It was just so freakin cute!
I'm liking the direction that George is taking with his religious crisis. I'm interested to see if you'll take it further, during the continuing drama, and where George will wind up.
I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing what's happened now that Matt's remembered, and if the psycho is going to get bolder, get caught, get away...I'm just excited. *G*

It _did_ get a bit religious there, but thats cool. You did warn me in the disclaimer that it would after all. *G* It fit in somewhat with the story, though I was a bit surprised at the rapid religious conversion that George seemed to have had. I'm not sure how realistic that would be...of course, I'm sure that if one is desperate, one will pray to whichever god/gods one thinks might listen. I'm just not sure I buy him completely abandoning his own beliefs so quickly.
I'm _really_ looking forward to Matt's recovery and how everyone deals with that and the emotional trauma of what he's been through. I love angsty stories and this one is great! *G*
