I really like this story; the characterization is amazing. You made the OCs very believable especially with their reaction to Seishiro... you don't need magic to know the guy's death walking.

I love fics that are told from the point of view of an outsider like this. What others see in these characters is always so telling.
Your OC detectives were fun to read about, interesting people, and I felt like I knew a lot about them by the end of this fic.
...I can just see this as a Law and Order: SVU episode. The drama and the whodunnit tension is great, even though, of course, we as readers already have a pretty good idea what happened when Subaru first walks into the station. It was really interesting to watch the whole thing come together and the detectives figure it out. Great job.

YES! I read this on The void, and I had no idea you were an author ion here!! This is a fic I definately love, probably way too much. It does put new things on perspective, and is really, really good. I love it!

Ah hah hah. I remember reading this a few years ago on your website. Having recently delved into the whole fanfiction . net thing, I'm more than a little ecstatic to find it here so I can finally profess to the world how much I love this thing.

I will say that among all of your fics, this one has always been my favorite. Not only because of the characterizations that are flawlessly portrayed and seemed to step straight from the pages of the manga of X, but also due to your OCs.

You're one of the few people whose OCs didn't suffer at all from either of the two common stereotypes I've identified. They aren't (a) lacking in depth so as to make them nothing more than cookie-cutter characters shoved in the story for purposes of filler material and/or cannon fodder, and they aren't (b) so overwhelmingly centric to the storyline that they crush the relevance of the actual manga/anime characters around whom the story should revolve.

Your OCs are beautifully portrayed, realistic and completely believable. They're vibrant, present, vital to driving the story and so pivotal that it can be read sheerly for the joy of Kobiashi (gaw, I love him), yet they don't overpower the X characters at all - Seishiro still domineers in all of his scenes, his presence veritably oozing from the text. Subuaru still has enough solidarity in the storyline to make a person's heart thunder with concern and dismay. The OCs don't take away from them at all, yet don't waffle uselessly in the background.

Applause is very much in order.

I knew it must have been Seishiro from the beginning, but it was still interesting to read your OCs pick up the clues and put them together, learning about the type of relationship Seishiro and Subaru has. Very well written, good job!

I just stumbled across this little fic and can't get over it.

Of course, all Subaru and Seishirou fans who obsess over them liberally knew that it was Seishirou who had killed the man, because he doesn't let anyone else touch his Subaru-kun. The characterization is brilliant! I love how you captured all of the personalities in this story.

The end is really creepy... it had me shivering more than once. You don't often remember how scary Seishirou really is until you read fics like this one, where the killer really comes out in him. You portrayed their relationship very accurately and spooked more than one of us. Great job!

This is definitely going into my favorites. And I won't go look at the ideas of what they said, what they say to each other is between them, and them alone. *wink* Congratulations for a brilliant piece of work.

wow... It was just... awesome. Truly. I normaly don't go for 'OC-centered' fanfics or one-shots that long, but I was engrossed in that from the first lines. The way you describe the characters from an outsider's point of view made it disturbingly real...
