Loved this. Very touching, great characterisation, deceptively simple and straight to the heart of things. Kind of sad when you think of what potential this show had in season 1.

Excellent, excellent, excellent story. I found "Much Abides" on many favorites lists, and decided to come check it out. You're a pretty legendary author on this site, but I've only read a few of your works. I have never been dissapointed, though. Much Abides was no exception. What a neat idea. Of course Matt would be suprised and stunned and feel a bit hurt, but it was brilliance to think to write about it. Cool. I loved the closing scene with Matt and Logan talking. Poor Logan felt so terrible, and Matt is a sweetheart for accepting what Logan had not told him. He seems to be a very understanding and compassionate guy. Thanks for this work, it was fabulous. Luv Amy.

I think that's the first story I've ever read from Matt's perspective. Very well written. I like.

Oh wow, that is wonderful! Excellent, excellent exploration of family and friendship and Logan's mission. I love Sung, too, and am glad you gave his character a chance to develop a little more through this story. I wondered, watching "Out", what he was thinking when Logan identified himself. This was a brilliant idea! Another great job! I can't wait to read more of your work...especially more of Denoement!

I think this must be the only story I've read, so far, with Matt's POV. I like it. Nicely encapsulates Matt and Logan's friendship.

I love stories like this. I watch the show from a two angled perspective. Max and Logan, Max and Logan. But Matt Sung, he who carries about that cop expression of being always over-tired, harried and searching for his next cup of coffee. This story catches him perfectly, without ramming home things we already know about Matt: that he's a good man, and that he loves his kids. Handled with a deftly light touch, too, that makes it a pleasure to read.

I had been wondering what happened to Matt after "Out." I'm glad someone finally expanded on this. Good job.

This was very good. The show never did say what he felt or was feeling during the whole episode.
This was a nice ending to it.

Oh wow....Are you the cooooolest or what? And don't even tell me that you don't love the angst. You do. :-) But no harm done, cuz I adore angst, especially when you write it. I like the ending though, it was a nice turn around. How do you do it? I'm soooo jealous. Hehe...You better get more out here soon. (Says me, one of your biggest groupies) Anyways *trying to change the subject* wonderful story. Great thought-maker.

I think that you handled that scene really well. I'm wondering how they will address that and if it isn't exactly like that then it will be close to it becuz that was a great way to. i enjoyed it.

That was good. I like Matt to (not as much at Sketchy, but still). It was nice of you to tie up loose ends.
