Wonderful. Your looks back at Spike's life with Dru ("careful china teacups filled with blood"-wow) is a great contrast to the way we know Spike's life is now.

Excellent short fic. Your sparse prose was magestic and powerful, it captured Spike's emotions and the endless push/pull he feels regarding Buffy and her place in his life, or his in hers. Wonderful imagery and construction.

Very interesting. Good portrayl of the early Buffy/Spike relationship. I liked the way you described Spike's anger and his loss of control. Good job.

i can't believe u don't like spuffyness, but that's just me. and i do have to say that i like Spike/Dru though. u'd like "Spike and Dru: Pretty Maids All in a Row," by Christopher Golden. (that is of course if u haven't already read it!)

This is great-it paints a mental picture of Spike and Dru, the way they used to be in the 'good old days', to him. I especially love the metaphor of the china teacups filled with blood-it gives the reader glimpses into a life of beauty and pain and blood and a sort of mock-civilized barbaric-ness...is that a word? But it's great, especially for something so short.
