So after taking forever-and-a-day to read this fic, I finally am able to say: Wow.

You have no idea how fun it was to read through this. All the humor, the character development, the Makoto x Elli business--this was a very, very fun ride. The Aja subplot surprised me, and I think it was pretty clever (a racer? who'd have thought?). The Won subplot was one of my favorites, though...always stealing stuff and blaming Makoto. Not to mention Cliff trying to manage the psycho chickens. Nice. XD

Well, I'm off to read "Strawberry Fields," and I'm stoked to see what happens to Makoto next!

Woohoo! I am up to Strawberry Fields now. I've been reading this for about 5/6 hours now. I'm so hooked in. I love it!

Well, as much as I wanted to finish last night, my internet decided to die in the middle. So here I am again.

Anyway, I can really tell your writing started to improve a lot with this chapter. I'm anxious to see what happened to Makoto, too. Poor guy. =(

Other than that, I like the way you did Kai & Cliff. Cliff especially differs from my take on him in Seven Deadly Sins. But I like it. =)

Gross, I think I might die myself if I had seen the bloated dead guy. Yuck.

Anyway, I always thought the little girl at the beginning of BTN looked most like Elli. Or perhaps Karen. But I always went with Elli because she was my favorite; probably because she's most like me.

By the way, I don't normally leave more than one review for a story, but hey. You're special, I guess. =)

Wot. I loved the subtle humor in this one. "la-dee-da dingle berry" land for instance. Great stuff.

Looking forward to the rest... hopefully I can finish (or get close) tonight. =D

Aha, well so much for the Roark character. It is interesting to see what Makoto's character is becoming.

Makoto kind of reminds me of Howard Roark from The Fountainhead, in a way. And I love Gray. He is too cute.

I'm going to start speeding up my pace here. I was craving some food so I took a break for a while.

Hmm, how many times have I started this? I probably left a review a while back, but I don't really remember.

Anyway, I'm determined to read through the whole thing this time. It's kind of sad that I haven't been able to earlier-- because you are a good writer (and friend). So, I may review every few chapters or so, who knows. =P
