To be honest I thought that was excellent. The points you raised in the authors notes about the too are correct, as they were it was unlikely that they would have gotten together. However, that said, the way you portray them shows a quite realistic development of their personalities, OOC only if you consider the timeframe to be static.

Interesting point of view, unusual non-slapstic
setting but nonetheless very appealing and nice.
Although I´m reading mainly Ranma+Akane-fics
(who doesn´t?), I think that every couple in the manga has earned it´s chance to be together.
Shampoo and Mousse are quite a nice couple, that is too often neglected. ^_^

I have to admit that it's rare to find a story portraying Mousse's part in the series. I'm building my fic Ranma 1/2 fic revolving around Mousse and Shampoo too. (It's my first attempt on Ranma 1/2 anyway so I wanted to be different =) Anyway, it's an interesting start. Keep up!
